Maybe it was the fact that the book I listened to before this one was one of the world's WORST books ever, and this one was such a breath of fresh air. Or maybe it's just that Anita Shreve is a wonderful author who knows how to get to the point, keep my interest, and tell a moving tale. I don't know, but I absolutely loved the writing and how it flowed, in this book.
This is a tough subject, and the book starts out very quickly by getting straight to the core of the matter. This book is for every man, woman, or student who has ever gone to private school, thought about going to private school, or worked in one. It's for anyone who ever had sex in high school, or even thought about it and wondered what the repercussions might be. This book is for anyone who thinks that one moment in time cannot change your entire future.
This audio book is only 4 CD's in length, which is about 1/3 to 1/4 of what most of the books are I usually listen to. It was most enjoyable, if a book about possible rape and underage drinking can be enjoyable.
