Much better than the "Vampire Diaries" books. I just re-read these books because I couldn't remember the story. Now I remember why I liked these books. Solid characters and a Solid plot that keeps you guessing. Wish they wouldn't have cancelled the TV show. Maybe it would still be on if they hadn't made it so different from the books. On to Bk 2.
