After reading all of Laura Childs books, I wanted to try some other authors "hobby mysteries". I enjoyed the descriptions of the southern Americans way of talking. And I learned a bit about their customs. It did make me want to join a sewing circle. The camaraderie of the women through thick and thin was wonderful.
