Book 3 in the Lonesome Law Man series. Luke Kirby heads to his family's mountain cabin for some alone time and discovers an injured woman there. Who is she, why is she the recipient of a gunshot wound, and why does she appear to be hunted? Maybe it wouldn't be so difficult for him if she could just tell him who she is...

This book was definitely my favorite of the series. Great plot and writing; the story flowed and even when I could guess how something might turn out, it was still very satisfying. I like how Jones tells every person's story--even the bad guy's!
