The story was about a married couple coming back together because she is pregnant. It is part of a series by 3 different authors, called Gingerbread Girls and is supposed to be about 3 girls who spent time at the Gingerbread Inn. However, this one barely mentions the two other girls and is more her connection to the Inn's owner, which is fine, but misleading. This book had two titles and The Christmas Baby Surprise is misleading because you have to read the other books to get to Christmas and the baby is not due then, either.
If you are interested in the romance of a married couple rethinking their marriage and helping a long time friend get her inn back in shape in the process, you will enjoy this story. However, if you are looking for some Christmas romance, this is not the book you want to read.
