The long awaited Brisingr seems to contain more pages than necessary.
Some of the battle scenes would be acceptable, but the details in EVERY battle scene drags the storyline out.
A lot of information provided does answer many questions, but the book seemed drawn out, like a blade, in many areas.
Saphira and Eragon mature further and bond even more as Dragon Rider and Dragon.
The ending was very lacking. It didn't even seem like an ending but just a book that was stopped and another will start.
The other two were much better. Hopefully the fourth (and hopefully final book of this series) will not be filled with as much "filler" and have storylines.
