Book #1 in series. David Cruz is good at two things: war and training dogs. This is the intro for this book. I don't usually read military stories, but I do love dogs and admire the trainers of the service dogs. Interesting story about a group of former solders that have retired from the service with PTSD. All are helped by the calmness they find working with the dogs.In this story David has been assigned to retrain a dog that lost his handler in a bombing. Very good story, kept me reading long after I should have retired for the night!!
