Excellent mystery pairing history with legend. I enjoyed the twist that give explanation to today's scientific explanation to the Shroud of Turin. You do not need to have a conviction about the Shroud to enjoy this story . . . nor did I find it disrespectful of religion either. I liked this novel by J Navarro better than the Bible of Clay.
