I'm about a third of the way through this and I'm struggling to finish it. It's not holding my interest. I salute the author's intensive research, but somehow none of it is coming alive for me. A romantic mystery should evoke emotion from the reader and curiousity about who dunnit, but I am finding it rather dull. Unless it picks up soon, I can't recommend it.
