This book left me wanting so much more. Cat and Liam meet at a wedding and become lovers. But she wants to keep it secret, he wants to shout it from the roof tops. After meeting her mother, Liam starts a friendship that looks like turns into a love affaire. Cat leaves him, though it breaks her heart, leaving her mother to her happiness, probably the last time she will find it. The she gets a commission to redo the hotel the wedding was held at, and Liam was there, he wanted to take her back up the room where they had first made love, and she runs away. After a vacation, she gets a call from her mother inviting her to her wedding. Cat agrees to go, and retreats when she sees Liam greet her mother. Only to find out from her father, that the wedding is them getting remarried, and Liam had never been involved with her mother.
This book just, for me, never resolved the issues between these two.
