I am a HUGE fan of Sheila Roberts and just finished reading her newest book, The Tea Shop on Lavender Lane. This book is the 5th in the Life in Icicle Falls series. Ive read them all in order, so, I cant really speak to reading them out of order. Ill leave that up to those of you who have read them that way to judge. If you havent read any of her books yet, you are in for a treat. Ive read them all.

Men are the root of all our problems, but when Bailey cooks, the food is to die for. Except when one celebrity client gets sick after an event catered by Bailey and said client blames it on food poisoning. Baileys catering business is in the trash and she is forced to return home, to Icicle Falls and the bosom of her familywhich consists of her mother (Murial) and two sisters (Samantha and Cecily)in shame, with her tail between her legs if you will.

She moves in with her sister Cecily and adventure immediately ensues. Bailey has lost confidence in her cooking but cant seem to find another career. Things are heating up between Cecily and Todd. And Luke. Men are falling all over both sisters and Samantha has news to share as well.

Ive said it before and will say it again. Since reading the first Icicle Falls novel, I can't wait to read Simplicity by Murial Sterling (hahaha). Don't get your hopes up if you are not familiar with these books, Murial the mother in the books.
