I was going to give this a higher rating but I can't, the reason being that it is way way too long, too many unnecessary pages of descriptions (a car chase takes up nearly 6 pages? really?)
The story has to do with the holocaust and the terrible things the Germans did, but yet the story just drags on and on and it takes forever for anything to get accomplished
I almost gave up but yet I think it is well written because it will keep you reading, the chapters are short and most leave you wanting to move forward just skim a lot to miss descriptions you don't need
I want a fast-paced story that doesn't drag but moves forward with a good story and my peeve is the way too long books that offer nothing but descriptions that aren't needed with a storyline, those are the ones I quit after 75-100 pages, too many good books to read without time spent on the boring ones
