There are sequels, Kieran's [introduced in this story] story in A Bite of Magick and Alpha Romeos which takes the series in a whole different direction. Alpha Romeos also links to Hayes' Kingdom series.

Once Upon A Midnight Blue By Shiloh Walker
Scheherazade would recognize the plot although the setting has been changed to more traditional fantasy. I found it a delightful retelling. It contains menage sex m/f/m [with a 7+ tall demi-elf in the traditional role of the genie, the princess and our hero].

300 years ago in a small town in Massachusetts the preacher accused the heroine of being a witch. Which she was so she turned the town into a ghost town and cursed him to stay there, alone. So now she's returned and he's planning to get his revenge. Unfortunately, or not, for her - he's had 300 years to plan it...
