I was captivated from the opening scene when you meet several of the blood Sword knights and first hear about the prophecy. I thought that the description was very well done. There were several small details that when you first read them you don't think about how much of the book hinges on them later...for example, the wolves in sheep's clothing said by Isabel's father. Obviously, the storyline was about Rohan and Isabel: though the secondary characters were protrayed excellently...Isabel's relationship with the different knights (especially Mahumka- sp?)and Rohan with his brother. Overall, a great book and I can't wait for the others to come out. I read this in a couple of hours.
