England during the early 1800s - Part of the Inferno Club series.
This book makes my okay list. It's the love lost due to honor (he's a brand new spy) circumstance who is later reunited. After inital friction, they come to be together again.
While the story did have good spots, I didn't find it very relationship driven. There was a great deal about the whole spy organization and many external factors, while they make for a good action story, took away from the romance .
There were also the characters of Drake and Emily, who may have even upstaged the hero and heroine. Drake was mentioned in the previous story, was saved in this story, and I believe will have his own story next. I actually looked forward to more mention of them throughout this book.
Overall, the story was nice, but not great. If you've started the series, you may as well read this to keep up, but no rush.
