This book is a hard-to-put-down page turner with interesting characters. The chapters switch back and forth from 20 years ago to the present. The suspense builds with surprising twists. It kept me guessing until the very end. I have read and enjoyed all of McGowan's books including her Paula Maguire series except for the Killing House which I will be reading very soon.
