Thank the goddess that book 3 didn't feature Jane's fucked up family as much as the first 2 books did!! Their antics are funny only in small doses. Some good headway is made with certain members of her family. Then there's Gabriel's secret. So much is made of this, the actual explanation was so lame (I was disappointed). I loved the exchange between Grandma Ruthie and Aunt Jettie. I love Jane and her humor (good comebacks and she's hilarious), Zeb, Jolene, Andrea, Dick, and hell, even Gabriel. The writing is excellent and funny, I laughed out loud several times.
