I really wanted to like this book. I started out intrigued by the story, but not really liking the main charachter and not liking the other charachters as they are introduced. I think it's because the author does not give that much reason to like them, but the investigation into the suicide that compels the main charachter to go back to his hometown kept me reading. THe middle of the book was hard to get through, but i'm glad that I finished it. I thought the ending was worth reading it, that's why i gave it 2-1/2 stars. I wish I could have liked it more. More charachter development would have helped.
