Suspenseful, edge-of-your-seat reading. To be lost in the forest is frightening enough, but to be hunted as well takes it to a whole new level. And why would a group of friends conduct their own search without telling anyone? Stupid, yes, but you kinda forget that when you're absorbed with what happens in the woods. The ending, too, was glossed over, taking some of the satisfaction out of what would have been a top-notch tale. 4 stars.
