This was actually a very delightful book. He rescues her from a South American guerilla and puts her on a plane out of the country. His last words, before she leaves, are "I'll come for you as soon as I can." Four months later, he does, but she doesn't want him to! She's even moved out of her previous apartment and left no forwarding address. What follows is a truly delightful pursuit.
