Amy (also known as Lulu the clown) loses her job as the host of a local childrens' television program to a dancing Rhode Island Red Rooster. At the grocery store, she meets a handsome veterinarian and becomes his receptionist, his lover, and also his sleuthing partner when one of his patients goes missing.
This is a short book that can be read in one sitting, (the font is VERY large.) I am writing this review now because I will likely have forgotten what this book was about by tomorrow, but I did enjoy it because it had a chicken and a few good one-liners.
