The murders in this book are particularly grisly. Someone is doing lobotomies on people alive without the benefit of anesthesia. Rebekka Franck and her sidekick Sune are on the trail. However, there's a hitch in their relationship. Sune kisses Rebekka (she is ten years older), and things don't go well. I almost knocked a star off the rating because of the ghastly nature of the incidents (yea, I'm a coward). By the time I finished this, my blood pressure was sky-high. You will want to lock all your doors before reading this.
