NIGHTTIME IS MY TIME started out engaging as the multiple players are introduced and a central investigation gets underway, but after about the first 100 pages, the next 200 pages become a generic strain of false leads and red herrings.

In the end, the person who turns out to be the culprit felt extremely random. It could've been any one of the classmates.

You may find this interesting if you've not read many mysteries before. But if you have, this will read like a story you've read before. Nothing new here, it's a very generic and average mystery.

I've been a fan of Mary Higgins Clark's earlier books, but I don't think I'll bother reading anymore of her new releases. They're just assembly line productions now.
