Somehow my fairly lengthy review was not saved here and I have mailed out the book so cannot redo it.
I found the book to include helpful advice for those who want to 'bring along' a reader, as one would expect from such an expert author.
I looked up fifty of the listed books (they are categorized and grouped by age) on the LAPL catalog and found a surprising number of them still on the shelves at various branches. Thus the lists are still of use.
