I'm just discovering Betty Neels. All her books are enjoyable but some are really good. I like a romance that is romance and not lust and sex. In general you can tell her characters love each other because they want what's best for the other person.

So far I've found 2 that I won't be parting with -- When Two Paths Meet and The Awakened Heart. Yes, they are the typical rich Dutch doctor (in this case English doctor) and English nurse, but the characters are very rich.

I had to read When Two Paths Meet twice -- once to find out when Dr. Jason Fitzroy had fallen in love and a second time to go back and see how each of his actions was geared towards helping Katherine to realize he loves her and she'd be the perfect wife.
