Guests are in town for the 20 year reunion of Victoria Springs High School. But time has curdled the camaraderie of once inseparable friends and the arrival of class-nerd-turned-international tycoon, Albert Butterfield, and a obnoxiou literary agent make for a poisonous mix. It seems one of the alumni is about to play off her success as a novelisst to write a tell all book exposing some scandalous secrets.

Her plan is sabotaged with a spot of strychnine. It is now up to Tess to uproot the murderous human weed who has invaded the Iris House garden.
