When I picked this book up at the library I wasnt sure I wanted to spend my time reading it. I enjoy a good supernatural romance but recently the titles coming out of the genre have been appalling. I decided to give the novel a try despite my reservations. The idea that a human and a supernatural being are drawn to each other is a stale concept but the historical setting gave Fateful a fresh feel. Knowing that the Titanic was headed for disaster added a sense of urgency and suspense that I think really strengthened the story. Overall this was a good read.
