Enter the dark, magical world of the House of Night, a world very much like our own, except here vampyres have always existed.
MARKED is targeted for the young adult audience.
I am captured by Zoey's world and want to see how her special spiritualism develops over time. This book also left enough unanswered questions that I'm drawn to find out more.
Qualities of this book were the supporting characters, the villian is quite intriguing, I'd gotten a bad vibe from her from the start, so there was some good foreshadowing on that account. Just read the book for the pure, rainy day enjoyment that it's meant to be and I'll probably go on to read the other books just because I'm curious and masochistic. And for any potential future readers out there who are adults, just be aware of what you're getting yourself into with these books, light reading... and unintelligent, off topic interior monologuing...
