Although this book is allegedly set in Alabama, the procedural aspects of this book are so flawed that if the circumstances had occurred anywhere in the United States virtually every adult in the book would be subject to civil liability and/or criminal prosecution. This dreck is so completely and unremittingly wrong that there would only be two reasons to have your child read it: 1) to use it asa teaching tool to show how the legal system really works in this nation or 2) to scare the bejezus out of a child who has outgrown the "monsters under the bed" stage. How this got past any editor with the slightest concept of American civics is beyond me.
