Classic Haddam. Gregor Demarkian has never been better than in his old role as a retired FBI profiler and his new and confusing role as husband. The Very Old Ladies have spotted an unexplained stranger coming in and out of Sophie Mgrdchian's place and want Gregor to find out what's happening. At the same time, Sheila Dunham, the host of America's Next Superstar, a spectacularly offensive human being, gets shot at while filming an episode of the show at Bennis' ancestral home. Definitely worth the read.
