The Digital Plague is the sequel to The Electric Church featuring that humble badass, Avery Cates, which I read and really liked a while back. The sequel wasn't as good as the first one but not much is. It still had some glorious highlights and the character of Colonel Hense is among my favorites for all that she is somewhat, um, blank at times. I kept picturing her as Jada Pinkett with a really bad attitude. I don't think this is the end of the series, but I do hope the next one is better. It'll go on my auto-read list for sure though, because even though this book is not Somers at the top of his game, it was still pretty good.
