This is a very quick read (only 217 pages) but a decent one. The sixth book in this series finds Magnolia College alumni at a 10 year reunion reminiscing about the good old days...as well as their murdered friend, Olivia.

Mason is now in charge of his late father's business, and is being blackmailed by deranged classmate Penny, the rich villain of this book. That she is able to get in touch with and meet with her old classmates despite being a fugitive from the law is testing my suspension of disbelief. That a child, Alexis, is also in her care (and has been since her birth) is also stretching things a bit.

Dealing with the past seems to be a major theme of these books. Mason has to come to grips with the fact that a brief fling his senior year has led to fatherhood; his friend and love interest, Jennifer Pappas, also has to deal with being accused of interfering in a custody dispute years ago.

Again, it's a quick read (only took me about a half-hour) but it's a decent enough mystery if you ignore the police being clueless (literally) about a fugitive in their town.
