Firekeeper is the only survivor of a settlement led by one of the king's sons. Raised by wolves, she no longer remembers the human language or way of life. However, at the age of fifteen, she is sent back to the world of men. This is the fascinating story of a race for the throne of a dying king, the freeing of a sorceress's daughter, and a war that ends in betrayal and alliance.

I enjoyed this book and am working my way through the whole series.
