"A GIRL'S GUIDE TO TAKING OVER THE WORLD: Writings from the Girl Zine Revolution" is a good book. It's sort of an intro to women who've launched zines that reveals a bit about their backgrounds, history and motivations delivered through a series of personal essays. There are ample illustrations, which also makes it fun to interact with, and the writing is high-quality. However, it's not as instructional as I was personally hoping it would be. I guess I expected it to be a guide to launching a zine.
