Awesome says the 12 year old. My son poo pooed these books when I first introduced them to him, now I can not get them in the
house fast enough. These books are written for the middle school aged person. My son has also read 2 other books by Anthony Horowitz and enjoyed them just as much.
If your child liked Spy Kids when they were little then they might very well like this as well.
