I don't know what it is about this book but for me I just couldn't get into it. I couldn't connect with Emma.
This won't prevent me from reading further into the series. I do want to find out what happens with everyone. I just felt like the book jumped all over the place for me and I couldn't get my bearings and truly settle in with the book.
Perhaps the next one will be more coherent. I still plan on reading this author's other book. Poughkeepsie. One book will not deter me. Some books are just not for certain people and this one just wasn't for me
