I do not usually read this line of Harlequins, so feel free to take this review with that grain of salt. I would call this an old school romance, so much so that I checked the publication date twice. The hero bruises the heroine and blames it on her tender skin and presses himself against her while she says no. In my mind that's abuse, not romance. I also think anyone who knows someone with a disability will be offended by the portrayals of it in this book. For the record, being in a wheelchair does not necessarily mean your life as a productive member of society is over! Both characters say mean things to each other and lie by omission. I had to force myself to finish it.
