I loved this book, complicated family dynamics, teens going from H.S to college. The complicated messy dating scene. But I would have given this book a 5 if I was musically inclined. There is quite a bit about music comp, playing, singing that I didn't get alot out of but the story line was so compelling that it didn't bother me. Add it the problems facing gay teens and this book kept me reading way into the night.
