I admit the book was a quick read, only about 300 pages. It was your standard vampire novel, hot sexy vampires but with psychics. It did have a lot of action in the novel that helped with keeping the story active as I read. However the way the author used historical figures as vampires made it feel like the author wasn't as creative. It was definitely cheating. It felt that the author did not have any creativity in making up her own vampires, or just got too lazy to do so. It turned me off a lot in the book.
