Book Review of Stretching Living Space

An interesting and "leisurely" idea-book and how-to combo (160p). Has simple options to make rooms (even children's rooms) more functional and attractive - by maximizing storage, properly arranging furniture, filling in unused space, planning for the future, etc. Found the text somewhat redundant, but well-organized. The photos were informative (and funny too - appeared to be late 70s in nature). There were several before and after case studies, ideas for expanding rooms off a house, and some interesting garage and closed-porch makeovers. Book also touched lightly on financing makeovers that involve contractors and how to prioritize one. There's also a large selection of furniture templates to use for arranging rooms on a grid (during planning stages). I don't feel like I wasted my time reading this.
