The Red Keep chronicles the efforts of Conan to get back the fief of Lady Ann D'Arcy. While the beginning of this book was promising, it went downhill towards the end, with some silly dialogue and not-quite-probable plot points.

Also, while I'm not the type to get offended by these things, I don't really like the attitude the author seems to have towards women and the lower classes. There's a good bit of violence, but none of it is very graphic. Probably for eleven and up, but it might be a while after that before they can read the older language without help.
