Very, very exciting. I started reading this novel and couldn't stop. It takes place in WWII Paris, where a non-religious Christian architect with big ego needs gets a chance to design buildings for the German war machines AND save the lives of Jews. I found it believable, historically interesting, emotionally affecting and sadly relevant to today, when Jews - and Muslims - are being killed for no reason other than their religious identity.

Highly recommended.
