In book two of the series, Dewey has decided to keep Quilter Paradiso, the quilting store she inherited from her mother. She is pinning her hopes on the 20th anniversary sale to keep the store alive. When a dead body turns up in her ally, she feels she must solve the murder in order to save her shop from the fear people have of shopping at a store where a person was murdered.
