This was a very good read. From the moment you start to read this book you will not put it down. It is about a young boy who was taking care of his little brother while living out on the streets. They had no other place to go, so the thugs and high up gang bangers took him(them)in after he proved to them he could sling drugs like the rest of them, but only better. His mother was so far gone on the drugs his rivarly gang members was supplying her with, so she couldn't be the mother she needed to be for the boys. This kid went through a lot for someone of his age. He gets betrayed by one of his drug brothers and is dealt with in the end. If you like any of Zane books, this one you will like also. Noire is a very good writer. All of her books I have read so far are gritty and raw. She tells you like it is in the state of New York.
