Alisa W. reviewed Preliminary exams anyone? on 7/2/2009

This is a fantastic, readable book about the history of statistics, great for a person about to undergo preliminary examination for their advanced degree in any science field - this is how I used it. It is written well enough to be enjoyable even for someone who is just interested in the history of science/stats and doesn't *need* to read it.
