An eye opening view of life above the 70th parallel, another culture, but one blended into the politics of traditional life vs modern conveniences. Folks there Innuit, have the same family and personal problems and joys as all of us, plus the temperature rarely gets above freezing, so ice is a constant and modifies all activities. Edie is a curious and persistent gal who wants to KNOW what has happened to some tourist and locals who are found dead. Good action, good mystery. I look forward to the next Edie mystery.
