Very engaging read about the relationship between Edgar Allan Poe and Frances Sargent Osgood, a poet and author who is trying to make a living after being abandoned by her cheating husband. Lynn Cullen does a wonderful job of creating a palpable sexual tension/mutual attraction between Poe and Osgood, even though it is mostly chaste. Enjoyed the story's literary salons and references to "The Raven." Felt propelled back in time.
