Great read! But I liked Triptych even better.
Dyslexic detective Will Trent has to solve a baffling murder: A young rich girl has been battered to death in her own home. Her mother returns too soon and finds the murderer still standing above her daughter - she flies into a rage and kills him. But ... the girl is not her daughter, but her daughter's friend, and the man she killed turns out not to be the murderer. Her daughter is actually missing and there seems to have been a fourth person in the house.
Great characters, and once you find out who the bad guy is, the tension really increases!
