This is a children's book from 1948 that was still being reissued at least into the 1970s. Penny and Peter are brothers who are reluctant to attend their first summer camp because they'd rather be sailing their family's boat. However, camp turns out to have a candle-boat race, blueberry picking, a parade, cooking contests, a homegrown circus, and a regatta so by the end of the story they are glad they attended.
