Clint McCade and Sandy Kirk have been friends forever. He travels the world as a cameraman, so good at his job that he's won an Emmy and is wealthy. She runs her own film company based in Arizona. He suddenly realizes she is the one thing missing from his life and he's ready to settle down with her forever. However, when he shows up on her doorstep, she confesses she's found her Mr. Right. Clint sticks around to check out the guy and give her lessons on how to seduce a man. In the process, Sandy realizes Clint is her Mr. Right after all.

I've really enjoyed all of Brockmann's Navy SEAL books, and this one didn't work as well for me. I missed the super strong alpha hero. (Clint gets a haircut and starts wearing polo shirts to make Sandy happy.) There is a nice Pretty Woman scene when Clint buys Sandy new clothes and gets her a great haircut. A nice quick read, but not a keeper for me.
